Ethan turned 2

Well my little boy is getting bigger and bigger. Last month he turned two years old. I can't believe it. It seems just like yesterday I was bringing him home from the hospital. He keeps us so busy and makes us laugh all the time. He talks so much! Him and Ellie are the best of friends most of the time. He has such a hard time when she goes to preschool and he can't go with her.

In the Swing of Things
Well I have survived my first week of Substitute Teaching. I thought it would be really hard to jump back into the classroom, however it was just natural. When I finished the first day I told my mom that it just felt like I belonged there. My kids are doing great at Aunt Sandy's house. I don't think that they even miss me. I love picking them up at the end of the day and having lots of hugs and kisses. So far things have gone well in every classroom I have been in. I hope that trend continues. I feel very blessed that things are going well.

Turning the big 30
Well I hit the big 30 this week. I can honestly say that it didn't bother me that much. I was down a little the day before but that had more to do with other things. At least my husband will always be older than me. I am very excited for the next decade in my life. I am hoping it will be even better than the last three decades. It is kind of funny because almost all our friends are turning 30 too. I did love it when I girl I work with asked me if I was turning 26!!!! I said of course! I am so grateful for my family and who they helped me celebrate and have a great day.

The Things They Say!
Ethan has finally said his big sisters name. I have been waiting for the day he would finally say it. Now I get to hear it all the time and I love it. He is really starting to add words to his vocabulary.
Ellie says the cutest things. She wants me to hold her all the time. We can be in the car driving and she is saying "HOld Me". Yesterday she told me a hold is like a hug. So now everytime she wants me to hold her I will have to remember she just needs a hug.

Trip To the Zoo with Friends

Ellie and Rylan
Ethan and his favorite animal the Lion
We went from 110 degrees to 80 degrees so we decided to head to the zoo with some of our friends. We had so much fun. An hour after we got home it started pouring for hours. We planned it just right.

Talk, Talk, Talk
Ethan is starting to talk all the time. Last weekend when we were at my moms he would say "I did it!" every time he went down the slide. He is just becoming such a talker. He loves to look out his window in the car and says tree, car and so much more. He loves you to read books to him. I love that he is starting to express himself. There is a stone statue of a lion we pass when we are driving and he gets so excited saying lion, lion.

Day at the zoo
We had our Preschool Field Trip to the Zoo. It was really fun. I had so much fun seeing how excited Ellie and Ethan get over the animals. Elephants are Ethans favorite thing right now. He loved seeing a live one. Here are a few pictures of the fun the kids had.

Update on our Family
Still no interent so I am using my sisters computer. I thought it would be nice to tell you all what we have been up to. Brandon is still so busy working 3 jobs. He is such a hard worker. We are hoping that things in Real Estate will soon start looking better. I am working several jobs and loving life. My best job is being a mom. Ellie and Ethan bring me so much joy. Ethan is starting to talk and loves to tell me "no". We had a wonderful visit from Brandons Grandparents. They just loved seeing the kids. We truly enjoyed having them close by for a few weeks. They are such great people. My sister Tasha has been here visiting and The kids just love her. I have really enjoyed being able to spend time with her again. She is such a great person. We are looking forward to seeing her again soon

Living in the stone ages
Okay for those of you who have been wondering why my blog has not been updates here is why. We have not had internet for over a month. I feel like I am dying. I am hoping to have my email up and going again soon. We had a wonderful Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with the Homer Family. I took the kids up to my parents in the afternoon and spent 3 days with my family. It was truly amazing. I love that my parents are so close by. I enjoy them being able to see my kids. Santa gave us a few suprizes for Christmas. We were truly blessed. We are now into a new year and moving right along. I will update my site with pictures very soon.
