It's a girl

Today we finally went and had our ultrasound done. Dr. Holmes let Ellie know that we are having a girl. She was so excited I didn't think she would sit still again. we are already at 22 weeks and things are going fast. Know we just have to think baby names other than Ellie's top choices. This is one of the ultrasound pictures. It is not a great one but I think you will get the picture.

Baby Names

Ellie has been so excited about a new baby coming. I don't know how she will be able to make it until September. Lately her obsession is that she gets to name the baby. We don't even know what we are having and she is picking out names. She is also convinced it is a girl so hopefully we will find out for sure on Wednesday. Her top baby names right now are Bananna, Valentine's Day and Necklace. To her these would be the best names in the world. I keep telling her that she has no naming rights but she doesn't see it that way. I love how wonderful she is. This pregancy is so much fun with her. She is so interested in everything about it. We will keep you all posted on the ultrasound results from Wednesday.

Ellie's Squash

Several months ago Ellie found a left over seed from a butternut squash and she planted it. We have been watering it every since. We were so excited when it started to grow and then it started to get flowers on it. I was getting a little worried because none of the flowers were producing squash. Today after church we found a little squash that is growning. Ellie is so excited and proud.

Last night I laughed harder than I have laughed in a long time. Ethan loves to sword fight with Brandon. They sword fought for at least 20 minutes last night. Ethan was so funny to watch. He would charge Brandon and push him over and then hit him like crazy. The best was when they started hiding from each other and then attaching each other. I had so much fun watching Brandon and Ethan interact with each other. What a great Dad Brandon is.
