Several months ago Ellie found a left over seed from a butternut squash and she planted it. We have been watering it every since. We were so excited when it started to grow and then it started to get flowers on it. I was getting a little worried because none of the flowers were producing squash. Today after church we found a little squash that is growning. Ellie is so excited and proud.

Good job Stacey for nurturing her and the plant!! Butternut squash is our favorite and the kids are always wanting to plant the seed of what we eat - maybe we need to try it to!
